Pougne Cendré
Made in Poitou-Charentes, this goat's cheese is made from raw milk. Suave with a light caprine taste, the Pougne is a rare and invaluable pleasure that delicately melts in the mouth. Roller shaped, it weighs approx. 200g. The pâte, white and tender, is hidden under a slightly bluish natural crust. At the end of the 6 weeks affinage, the cheese is ready to be tasted. If one prolongs the affinage up to 10 weeks, it will develop a certain acidity, very agreeable. It is however never aggressive, its acidulous side giving him any sound charms. Taste it at the end of the meal, with cereals or nut breads.
